Hello sweets, when it comes to a parent on a budget, I am that girl. Since I am a sassy mom of six beautiful children, I must find ways to cut my spending and save where I can. Among other things, one way was by starting a baby registry before my babies were born, that aspect helped me tremendously. Baby registries have always worked for me, and I have had a chance to become experienced at baby registries and must-have items and baby necessities while helping myself(mom) heal. I can remember with my first child, I did not know what to do, how a registry worked, or where to start. It took me some thinking time to find out how to even begin to find a store where I could do a registry, I was stuck for a while, but luckily, I have had a few trips around the bend and can now share my experience and good vibes. To make sure I was accommodating to everything that I needed for my new baby, every time I was pregnant, I would create multiple registries across different stores, I will explain why in a bit. From that, all the registries have their pros and cons but one of my favorites is the Amazon baby registry. I'm here to give you all my tips and five of my must-haves from Amazon that I have always included.   

How it works is family, friends, and coworkers go to your registry and buy one or more of the items listed, and then the items are delivered to the expecting parent. Easy right? The good thing is, you decide the items and you gift your desires. When I became pregnant, I created birth announcements and added my registry info on the card, so that everyone could give me what they chose from my list. I had nearly everything on my list plus more. I received gift cards, diapers on a subscription basis, wipes, breast milk supplies, blankets, clothes and so much more. The Amazon registry helped me get a jump start on my baby’s first months of life, so I could focus on healing, nursing, and nurturing my baby.

Since I have had to so six of my own registries, I have compiled 5 of my must haves for my Amazon registry. 

1. 1. The very first item and my favorite, is baby diapers. Babies need so many diapers especially newborns, and babies grow so fast you need different sizes. So, I always keep diapers in every size in my register, and I keep a diaper fund, so I can get Amazon gift cards to buy the diapers at any time.

3. 3. Nursey items. Nursery items are perfect for a registry. You can add all the items that fit the theme of how you are planning for baby's room. My registry included a crib, diaper changing station, diaper trash can and many more items.  

4. 4. Baby clothes. OK, so clothes are just like diapers I need so many clothes, because my babies grow quickly, and seasons change, so baby wear is needed constantly. I love the Amazon registry because brands like Carters, can be added to the registry because there’s so many options. I added everything from bibs, mittens socks and shoes and many more, everything you need is all in one place  

5. 5. Breastfeeding/ feeding time items. Baby’s gotta eat, so I always include my favorite feeding items. I was a breastfeeding mommy, so I needed bottles, nipples, pacifiers breast pads and nipple cream, to name a few. 

You’ll find all your favorite items in the Amazon baby registry as I have, because well after all it is Amazon! I recommend that when creating your Amazon registry, remember to include all baby and mom needs. With a registry you're in control of what you receive for your baby and even if all items are not gifted to you, the ones that are put baby in a position for a good start to the new world.
